3. How We Protect Your Data
- Your snippets are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (industry standard)
- We use secure cloud infrastructure
- Regular security updates and monitoring

- Authentication cookies - To keep you logged in
- Analytics cookies - Anonymous usage data via DataFast
No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data - Export your snippets anytime from the app
- Delete your account - Contact us and we'll remove everything
- Update your information - Change your email or password in settings
- Object to processing - Contact us to discuss
7. Data Retention
- Your account data: Kept while your account is active
- Your snippets: Kept while your account is active
- After deletion: We remove your data within 30 days
- Backups: Purged within 90 days of account deletion
8. Children's Privacy
ClipDeck is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
9. International Users
We're based in the EU and our servers are in Germany (Hetzner). Your data is processed in accordance with GDPR requirements.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or in the app before they take effect.
